Yorkshire is once again the backdrop for another Netflix movie. A Second World War film is being filmed in Bradford this week starring Kerry Washington of Scandal and Django Unchained and Oprah Winfrey.
Little Germany in Bradford city centre has been transformed into 1940s setting for the Netflix film Six Triple Eight for filming that has been taking place today.
The film tells a story of an old black, all-female unit set at the height of the Second World War. The film also stars A-lister actor, Susan Sarandon.
The city centre has been transformed over the last few days with the streets of Little Germany being transformed and extras in world war soldier’s khakis taking over the area.
Kerry Washington confirmed she was in the UK on Monday 13th February via Twitter writing: “OKAY just woke up in the UK. And….Rihanna. That’s all.”
