New Clifftop 650m Zip Line Approved For Yorkshire Coast Town

Scarborough is set to be home to the new zip line after it was recently given permission to build! The new attraction will be one of England’s longest zip wires found right on the Yorkshire coast. You can test your nerve as you fly along enjoy the fantastic coastal views.

ZipnZap in Scarborough aims to offer an exhilarating experience for individuals, families and groups. The Yorkshire-based business has global operations and aims to make Scarborough a premier adventure destination whilst helping to create jobs and boost Scarborough’s economy.

The incredible 650m zip line adventure experience will be located on Scarborough’s North Bay and will include a launch and a landing tower situated on the former site known as Marvel’s Amusement Park, which is at the moment a disused hilltop site.  There will be a total of four wires interconnecting the two towers, and also a ‘drop’ ride for the landing tower for those who have already ridden the zip wire.

The exciting Scarborough zip line’s website is already up and running advertising the new attraction which is set to open in the summer with prices starting from £30 per person. If you’re someone who loves to find those adrenaline fuled activities then this will be the attraction for you.

With thousands flocking over to Scarborough and the Yorkshire Coast in the summer months, this new attraction is sure to be enjoyed by many visitors – and should be a welcome addition. We’ll have to put our bravery boots on to try this one out for ourselves – but we will give anything a go once and this would be The Yorkshireman’s first zip line, which is an exciting prospect.
