You Can Now Get A Cherry Cola Bottle-Inspired Beer That Tastes Of Childhood

A Yorkshire-based brewery has created a childhood classic in the form of a refreshing IPA beer. That’s right! You can be transformed back to your younger years with this refreshing new beer. We all need something that will get us through these next few winter months, and it sounds like this new beverage will do just that! Northern Monk Cherry Cola inspired beer sounds right up our street.

The new beer is the second in their collaboration with the artist, LeiMai. Taken to their Instagram account, Northern Monk said that: ‘The first release in the @leimai_lemaow Patrons Project series showcased her iconic character, Gary. This beer introduces us to Gary’s best mate and partner in crime, Micki Mouth.’

The new beer based on cherry cola bottles is a 4.5% sour IPA and gets its taste by being brewed with Mosaic, sweet cherry and sour cherry, as well as vanilla at the conditioning stage in a bid to create the childhood classic, says Northern Monk. The result is a well balanced tangy and juicy beer with classic cola aromas – ready to bring back memories of pop from your youth.
