Two years after their split, Our Yorkshire Farm stars Amanda and Clive Owen reunited for a new TV show last year, Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids. The former couple, who gained popularity with their fly-on-the-wall series featuring their nine children, admit that the fame from Our Yorkshire Farm contributed to the breakdown of their 22-year marriage. Despite their amicable separation, the Owens are working together again, this time on restoring a remote farmhouse known locally as Anty John’s.
Although a rekindling of their romantic relationship wasn’t on the cards, the show highlighted how you can still put family first and has all the heart of Our Yorkshire Farm. The entire Owen family collaborated on the renovation project. Since the end of Our Yorkshire Farm and their split, their son Reuben has also gained attention with his own Channel 5 series, Life In The Dales, which followed his life and relationship, though his romance ended during filming.
Posting to social media Amanda Owen wrote: “Where does time go ? 🕰️ It’s Saturday and we’re back on your screens with our latest project (as if we needed any more to do ). You’ll find us all (nobody gets away without pulling their weight) beginning the challenging project of bringing a ruinous farmhouse back from the brink and returning it to its former glory (in a kinda rustic way, it never was a castle).
“So please tune in for a breath of fresh air, more than a smidgen of mud, children, animals and friends (mates rates now applicable) as we reveal its past and attempt in our own unique way to secure its future.”
The new observational documentary series, aired on More4 last year and follows Amanda, Clive, and their children as they work with local tradespeople to restore the neighbouring property. Across 10 episodes, viewers will see the family’s challenges, including seasonal changes and the complexities of renovating a listed building. The series will also explore the history of the farmhouse, its former owners, and local Yorkshire traditions.
This highly anticipated show promises to give audiences an inside look at the Owens family dynamic as they embark on this new chapter together.
The date for first episode of the new series ‘Our Farm Nextdoor: Amanda, Clive & Kids’ airs tonight on Channel 4 at 7:10pm
