Renovation on Anty Johns continues as Reuben Owen, eldest of the Owen’s nine children’s shared a post to Instagram showing Amanda and Clive working together to tackle the mammoth task of giving the rundown barn a new lease of life up in the Yorkshire Dales.
It looks like they’re set on transforming the spot that is just down the road from Ravenseat Farm as Reuben also posted a series of pictures alongside mum, Amanda, which showed them both pitching in on the project last month..
Reuben posted this week saying: “Me and Tom took the day of the diggers to give Mum and dad a hand taking the roof off Anty Johns. One amazing view from the scaffolding.”
And, he’s not wrong. From the snaps it looks like there is fantastic views over the Yorkshire Dales region from up on the roof.
We’ve said it once, but we’ll say it again! The Anty Johns renovation would make the perfect tv show, but it looks like we’ll have to make do with Reuben’s posts for now.

We aren’t the only ones enjoying the posts as fans of the show have been sharing their prasies on the project. With one person saying: “Can’t wait to see Auntie Johns, love ya mum n dad.”
And another wrote: “Good luck everyone! There’s bound to be problems but so worth it in the end x.”
It’s nice to see the family pitching in and working together even if we don’t get to see it on the small screen. Clive can be seen in the snaps in a hard hat and hi-vis while mum Amanda can be seen in a selfie with Reuben.
The family have been quiet on the TV projects front. Clive and Reuben’s spin-off series from Our Yorkshire Farm named Beyond the Yorkshire Farm quenched fans appetite for more from the family, but nothing seems to have been announced just yet. Although, Reuben was seen recently on Harvest on the Farm.
The Anty Johns project looks like it’s a labour of love, and we can’t wait to see its transformation. Hopefully, we’ll get more updates from up on the Yorkshire Dales.
