A fan of the popular Channel 5 show Our Yorkshire Farm was left disappointed after a trip to the Yorkshire Dales farm Ravenseat run by the Owen family.
The farm usually offers refreshments including warm drinks and cakes along with a chance to see Tony the Pony, but one fan turned up to find that the doors were locked with no explanation
The Mirror reports, that Amanda Owen’s family refreshments centre was said to be open on the website, but despite that, the fan turned up to find the cafe was empty.

The customer took to Instagram to share their upset writing: “Your website said you were open yesterday but when we got there the closed for Winter sign was still on the gate. Such a shame.”

The fan wasn’t to forlorn and also discussed the roads up in the Dales saying: “Don’t know how you survive up there as the roads are horrendous & so remote. Full credit to Reuben as a youngster when he used to go back & forth on his moped to work.”
The cafe could have been closed for a number of reasons with this time of year being the busiest on the farm for lambing season and whatnot.
It’s on our bucket list of places to visit in Yorkshire so let’s hope it opens its doors soon.
Meanwhile, Reuben looks like his digging job is keeping him busy at the moment as he shared an update at the weekend writing: “Some pictures from what has to be my most interesting project yet. Once buried the @swaledaleburrow will be a luxury underground holiday let.
“When all ground work it done and the grass grows back it will allow people staying in the pod an excellent view of Swaledale and leave very little impact on the landscape. A lot of time and effort has gone into this project so give them a follow to keep updated.”
