Yorkshire Fave Papa’s Fish & Chips Is Opening In Bridlington Today

Defiantly taking on the pandemic over the past year, Papa’s Fish & Chips has gone strength to strength – proving exactly why they’re one of the biggest contenders on the Yorkshire fish and chip scene.

Now, seven restaurants in and over 50 years under their belts as experts in the proper good chippy field, the family business is set to open its eighth restaurant in Yorkshire – with a fantastic location in Bridlington opening today on Good Friday – it’s a very good Friday indeed..

Set to sit on one of the busiest areas in Brid, the new site is opening on the corner of Prince Street – with views out to the harbour, pier and sea.

The site was formerly the Pier 18 gift shop by the John Bull sweet shop (where, back in my youth, we’d head every summer for a few sticks of rock and a bag of fudge – a great post-chippy treat if you ask me!). The famous John Bull sweet shop resides next door.

The convenient location is just a matter of seconds away from the seafront, the beach rides and the amusement arcades, making for the perfect place to pick up some fish and chips while wandering the front.

If you’re looking for some top-notch fish & chips. make sure you get down and give them a try today. It’s the only way to kick off the weekend.

Papa’s currently operates in Cleethorpes, Bilton, Hull, Kingswood, Willerby, Scarborough and Whitby, and made headlines earlier this year thanks to the introduction of their innovative fish and chip drive-thru and their incredible two-foot battered pig in a blanket (which pretty much got us through the winter months).
