We thought Hull was the top spot for celeb spotting in East Yorkshire, but it seems that Goole has had a bite of the pie as staff from local Italian had a surprise visit from the award-winning actor Stephen Graham.
The This Is England star popped into local Italian Mr NessuNo in Goole, East Yorkshire for a bit of food. It seems he was in the area filming scenes at the neighbouring docks for the new Peaky Blinders feature film Immortal Man. The BBC reported that Jess Hasanaj, a member of staff, said a man “who looked like a bouncer” took the menu out to a “blacked out SUV.”
She said Graham was “filming the new Peaky Blinders film here and wasn’t looking forward to jumping in the docks at 1.30 in the morning”.
Since the Peaky Blinders film was announced for the BBC crime drama fans have been guessing who will appear from the series. Graham played Hayden Stagg, a union convener stealing Tommy’s opium, in the series. He manages to talk his way out of punishment from Arthur Shelby, so it will be interesting to see how his role pans out in the feature film.

One thing is for sure and that is that Cillian Murphy will once again take on the iconic role as Tommy Shelby off the back of his Oscar-winning performance in Oppenheimer. Murphy is also taking on a producer role in the movie version of the British series.
One actor definitely returning for the film is Tommy Shelby actor, Cillian Murphy, how spoke to Deadline about its return, saying: “It seems like Tommy Shelby wasn’t finished with me, It is very gratifying to be recollaborating with Steven Knight and Tom Harper on the film version of Peaky Blinders. This is one for the fans.”
Harper, the director of the first series, said: “When I first directed Peaky Blinders over 10 years ago, we didn’t know what the series would become, but we did know that there was something in the alchemy of the cast and the writing that felt explosive,
“Peaky has always been a story about family — and so it’s incredibly exciting to be reuniting with Steve and Cillian to bring the movie to audiences across the world on Netflix.”
Steven Knight said: “I’m genuinely thrilled that this movie is about to happen. It will be an explosive chapter in the Peaky Blinders story. No holds barred. Full-on Peaky Blinders at war.”
There is no release date confirmed yet.
