Enjoy Tons Of Festive Pies Topped With Pigs In Blankets At This Yorkshire Pie Shop

There’s nothing more in the world us Yorkshire folk like than the beige delights of a pie. And popular pie chain Pieminster has a treat for you this Christmas with the release of their festive menu that has a whole host of tasty pies and sides for you to try.

Posting to its Instagram page the pie experts wrote: “🎄 Our Christmas menu has landed 🎄

“THIS IS NOT A DRILL PEOPLE.”

And, we have to say they aren’t playing around! Pieminster has announced 5 new pies including a vegetarian and vegan which both sound mouthwateringly good.

You can choose from the Mistle Moo: a British beef steak, bacon & port pie; The Cracker: a turkey, ham, cranberry, parsnip & sherry pie; Christingle: a parsnip, chestnut, cheddar & leek pie (v); Deer Santa: venison, bacon, red wine & green lentil pie (restaurant exclusive); Good Elf: a vegan ‘turkey’, cranberry, port & thyme pie (vg).

We can’t wait to try the Deer Santa one, venison and bacon pie smothered in gravy sounds like an absolute delight to us. The festive pies are just £5.75 on their own or you can add either two sides at £9.50, or the Mother Earth (£10) or Mothership (£10.50). They also have a festive feast on offer that comes with all the trimmings such as mash, parsnip crisps, a stuffing ball stick, carrot & swede mash and gravy.

Make sure you add a pig in blankets on a stick for £1.95 to top the meal off. One thing is for sure, you’ll have a full belly at the end of this meal. You can wash it all down with a range of ales, wines and 241 cocktails on offer.
