The RHS Flower Show Will Return To Rotherham Following Successful Debut Last Week

RHS Wentworth Woodhouse will return in 2028 following a successful debut just last week. The prestigious flower show took over the South Yorkshire stately home for the first time ever, attracting thousands between 16th-20th July.

The new show was part of a significant shake-up for the RHS calendar, with organisers aiming to expand to new locations to bring gardening to a wider audience. The original show took place at Cheshire’s Tatton Park; however, it will now take place every three years in Cheshire and at alternative locations in between.

Wentworth Woodhouse will remain one of the alternative venues, with the RHS Flower Show set to return in 2028. The show will take place in Sandringham next year and return to Tatton Park in 2027.

The show consisted of displays and installations throughout the house and gardens, alongside show gardens for inspiration, street food and shoppable stalls.

Sarah McLeod, CEO of the Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust, said: “It was so wonderful to have thousands of people not just come to Wentworth Woodhouse, but to Rotherham and South Yorkshire,”

“It’s a really good way of raising the profile of our fantastic region.”
