Robson Green Set To Showcase Yorkshire In New BBC Series Starting Tonight

We love a bit of Robson Green, whether he’s fishing, acting or presenting. And his new series of Robson Green’s Weekend Escapes, which shows him taking the roads less travelled, seems him visit North Yorkshire as well as the North East, Scottish Borders and Lakes to discover why the outdoors is so beneficial.

Set to air on BBC Two at 6:30 pm, the second episode in the series sees Robson visit Yorkshire with born-and-bred, Leeds lass Nicola Adams, a former Olympic boxing champion. The pair get their hearts races in the woods before visiting The Hutts Himalayan Garden and Sculpture Park, near Ripon.

Robson takes Nicola to a Himalayan garden, where the pair take part in some yoga. Robson also stays in a lovely shepherd’s hut before then going to try his and at glass fusing at Newby Hall & Gardens.

That’s not the only showcase of Yorkshire in this series. Comedian Rosie Jones takes Robson to Filey in North Yorkshire for episode six before enjoying a paddle and a pop-up sauna. They enjoy a dive inland to Newby Hall to explore the gardens.
