A Huge Designer Village With Top Names Is Coming To Scotch Corner

A brand new fashion and shopping destination is coming to North Yorkshire, with a host of huge brand names confirmed for the 2027 opening.

Originally set to open in autumn 2023, but pushed back to September 2024, Scotch Corner Designer Village is now expected to open in 2027, with 50% of the construction now confirmed as complete. It’s set to be the leading outlet and leisure destination in the whole of the North of England, with 73 retail stores and an array of food and beverage outlets on site. Developers hope to encapsulate the feeling of walking through a friendly Yorkshire village.

Confirmed brands include Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Levi’s, Regatta, M&S and more, with the likes of Superdry, Lindt, Haribo and Guess recently joining the lineup. 82% of units are reportedly already let.

The new shopping village also promises to support Yorkshire fashion, alongside prices of up to 60% off RRP on global brands. Fashion, food, home and garden, wellness and entertainment are promised; however, it’s yet to be revealed what entertainment and leisure experiences guests can expect from Scotch Corner Designer Village.

National favourites such as Wagamama, Five Guys, Pizza Express and Pret A Manger will form part of the foodie offering, with more names expected to be announced in the future.

Upon opening in 2027, it’s expected that the new shopping village will bring more tourism to the Richmondshire area, which is just a short drive from Darlington, the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors.
