These Architectural North Yorkshire Lodges Are Perfect For A Social Distancing Staycation

A cluster of luxury treehouses sits hidden in the North York Moors. Standing on stilts in a little pocket of trees with an enchanting view over a beautiful country setting, these lodges are the perfect getaway if you’re looking to spend some time with family and friends – away from the rest of the world. Sound dreamy? Wait til you see the inside…

In the lodges, guests can enjoy the simple and quaint natural environment, with a luxury interior that has a blend of both classic and contemporary styling. From its sleek gadgets, leather chairs and little touches of luxury – the amenities are a stark contrast to the woodland that surrounds.

And if you’re planning a getaway with your social bubble of up to six, the property boasts three large double bedrooms with en-suites and a large open plan living area, too, decked out with huge leather sofas that are just dying to be curled up on. Next to those, you’ll find the wood burning stove to keep the room as toasty as ever – a seriously cosy treat after a day of walking.

The carefully designed kitchen has everything you’d need to enjoy a night tucked up inside, as well as a huge dining table that makes socialising with your fellow guests easier than ever.

And while the inside is amazing, what we love the most about the lodge is when you step outside. To get to the outside you have to step through those floor-to-ceiling doors that frame the woodland to look like some beautiful landscape painting. When you do venture out, guests are greeted with an alfresco space equipped with a BBQ, and a hot tub to hop into while taking in the views.

And while we’d jumped on the outside for a sec, we can’t help but mention that the lodge is also equipped with its very own private sauna – a touch of luxury that’s rare anywhere else.

If you can pry yourself away from your wonderful stay, there is plenty for you to explore around the Yorkshire Moors. Head over to Helmsley Castle, or the medieval Byland Abbey. If you feel like some civilisation, then venture over to Scarborough or Whitby for some seaside town fun. A little closer, you can enjoy a few village pubs nearby for some classic pub grub and local ale.
