A range of factors were taken into consideration, including age, rating of market on Google, the number of retail and wholesale independent businesses, museums and historic buildings.

The ‘thriving’ East Yorkshire market town stands out due to ‘its breathtaking medieval architecture and vibrant cultural scene. It has taken one of the top spots due to it embodying ‘the vision of an English market town, with cobbled streets, buildings from several historic eras, and a thriving independent scene’.
Some of Beverley’s most iconic landmarks include the majestic Beverley Minster, Beverley’s streets lined with beautiful Georgian townhouses, where you’ll find top restaurants, beautiful boutiques and gift stores. Also Beverley Westwood pasture, the gateway to the market town, perfect for long dog walks, summer picnics and wholesome family outings.
