A New, Luxury Subterranean Spa Has Opened in York

York’s most luxurious hotel, The Grand, has unveiled their brand new spa after a £2.8 million refurbishment.

Sitting in the vault of the hotel, SubRosa offers a new state-of-the-art spa offering for both overnight and day guests at The Grand, with revamped facilities including Tirol hot sauna, Himalayan salt sauna, a salt and light therapy room, herbal steam room, herbal lounge, a state-of-the-art large hydrotherapy pool, foot spas, a relaxation room and more.

Guests can also enjoy a number of relaxing treatments, such as massages, facials and marocMaroc rituals.

In addition to the revamped spa, guests can also enjoy a brand new restaurant serving dishes inspired by Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai and Korean cuisine, with Executive Head Chef Kevin Bonello at the helm bringing a range of sharing small plates and large plates to enjoy.
