If you’re looking for a way to enjoy the summer sun, then this fish & chip cruise in York is for you. You can sail through the historic city and into the countryside whilst enjoying Britain’s greatest takeaway. It’s the perfect match, and a unique experience to try as you sail down the River Ouse.

One of York’s top fish & chip restuarants, Mr Chippy has joined forces with City Cruises, offering delicious fish and chips washed down with a wide range of refreshments including their own ale brewed in collaboration with Kirkstall Brewery, a proper Yorkshire institution.

How long does the York fish & chips cruise take?

You’ll hop aboard City Cruises’ boat and be taken from the city centre into the beautiful countryside along the River Ouse, taking in the riverside views. Once out on the river, you’ll be handed your freshly wrapped fish & chips from the award-winning Mr Chippy. You’ll have 45 minutes to an hour on the journey to enjoy your tasty meal accompanied by the lovely surroundings.

If that wasn’t enough, you’ll be given a commentary on York’s rich history and the surrounding locations via the captain as you leisurely sail along York’s famous river.
