Wapentake, Leeds is a must for any true Yorkshireman. And it has just released a new menu of Yorkshire pudding burgers that you’re gunna want to try.
Everything from the name Wapentake to its new burger menu make it a little piece of Yorkshire – and the new Yorkshire pudding burger menu in Leeds city centre cements this. Announcing the new via Instagram they wrote: “The original Yorkshire pudding burger menu is here! Come and give it a try it’s delicious”.
The menu highlights include the OG Yorkshire Pudding Burger, which comes with a locally-sourced beef pattie or chicken fillet topped with bacon and cheese and served with gravy inside two HUGE Yorkshire puddings.

New to the list is the X-Mas pudding which is a homemade sausage pattie served with stuffing, cranberry sauce, bacon and cheese. Also, the breakfast choice, which is our favourite sounding one which comes with a sausage pattie, bacon, cheese and & fried egg (the ultimate hangover grub). Check out the full list below.
The bar has a laidback vibe as you walk in with a cosy cushioned corner in front of you as you walk in with a piano across from it that looks ready for a sing-a-long to begin at any second. As you turn to the bar you’re greeted with a range of Yorkshire ales such as BrewYork, and Northern Monk. North Brewing Co and Kirkstall Brewery on tap along with a stocked beer fridge beside it.
