We love a good ol’ pub, especially in the summer months. Sitting in a nice beer garden with beautiful views and good company is something to smile about.
And, one of Yorkshire’s boozers has featured in the National Geographic’s top 10 UK pubs to visit in the summertime. Since the sun has finally reared its head. We thought it was something to shout about.
Piglove by the River in Leeds was selected in the top 10 and is located just a short walk from the city centre. We love Leeds’ beer gardens, but this one must have slipped the net – and we are glad they’ve made us take note.
Piglove is a riverside taproom that’s the National Geographic say is the the perfect place to while away a lazy summer’s afternoon. The set-up is simple: dozens of picnic tables sprawl across a sun-soaked patch of grass next to the gently flowing River Aire.”
They also highlight that as well as having an ‘enticing’ selection of craft beers they also have a “rotating line-up of street food vans.”
They continue saying: “this informal watering hole has become a firm favourite among locals seeking a relaxed spot to unwind and catch up”.
So, if you find yourself looking for plans over summer and you’re around the Leeds area, make sure you head over to Leeds’ taproom and beer garden, Piglove.
