Just because the weather is getting colder doesn’t mean we don’t want to be out and explore this beautiful county of ours. The sentiment is shared by the website Visit Cheltenham which has compiled a list of quirky places to visit and a cheeky Yorkshire gem has been featured.
Opting for something a little different than your run-of-the-mill hotel room offers you a great chance to make your accommodation a part of the adventure away and this double-decker bus stay is definitely that.
Included in Visit Cheltnam’s list of quirkiest places to sleep in the UK, the bright green double-decker bus is included in a list which also has a replica WWI bunker, luxury treehouse stays and more. What could be more fun?

Found in the family-run Hollym Holiday Park, Daisy Decker is a brilliant family stay. It’s a great twist on the glamping experience and perfect for those who want to be at one with nature but without the tent.
The vibrant bus is surrounded by gorgeous fields of yellow rapeseed oil (time of year dependant) that make sitting on the top deck and taking in the view all the more fun.

The Double Decker bus at Hollym Park Glamping is close to the seaside town of Withernsea, so you can venture into town for a walk on the beach, some food or maybe visit a few of the seaside town’s lovely pubs.

This stay is perfect for families or a group of friends looking for a weekend away with a difference. The bus comes fully ‘decked’ out with all the amenities you’d need for a perfect getaway. It sleeps up to five and has a master double bedroom and a triple bedroom.
The double bedroom sits at the top overlooking the vibrant fields and is very spacious. The triple bedroom is a little snugger but perfect for a sleepover with a difference.
