Fancy enjoy a nice fillet steak and a cocktail with sea views? Well, you can soon, when the stylish new Tomahawk Steakhouse in Saltburn-by-the-sea opens.
The steakhouse chain is known for its Himalayan salt dry-aged steaks, Yorkshire Wagyu & other great local dishes, and is set to open its newest restaurant along the Yorkshire coast next month.
As well as doing fantastic steaks, they also do a mouthwatering Sunday roast sharing platters that include all your roast favourites including giant Yorkshire puddings drenched in a delicious gravy.
The steakhouse chain already has venues in York and Beverley and is looking at opening another Yorkshire venue in Harrogate at some point in the near future as well.
Posting to Facebook the steakhouse chain wrote: “The latest artist impressions of our outdoor seating!
“We will be able to transform each area to enjoy the sun on summer days and stay cosy in winter. Because who can resist that view.”
A spokesperson for Tomahawk added: “We can’t wait – it’s really starting to take shape now. It LOOKS like we will be open June 24, all things going to plan, so fingers crossed.”
The artist’s impressions show an alfresco style dining experience with a retractable roof that allows for its veranda to be used all year round.
Plans for the venue include surf and turf versions of the Tomahawk’s “legendary” dishes and “sunset DJs” spinning Ibiza classics throughout the summer. Plans include serving breakfast from 8am plus lunch and dinner by the sea seven days a week. There will also be cocktails, draught beers and a “couple of outdoor surprises”.
The firm is aiming to open the Saltburn Bank restaurant on June 24 and fans of the chain’s other venues have said they “can’t wait”.
