It looks like one of Yorkshire’s most famous duos are set to reunite for festive fun. Formerly known as Reeves and Mortimer, Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer are set to feature together as Bob makes a guest appearance on Painting Birds With Jim And Nancy Moir‘s Christmas special.
Bob has become legendary away from the pairing thanks in no small part to his fantastic appearances on popular panel show Would I Lie To You alongside David Mitchell, Lee Mack and Rob Brydon. His fantastical true stories are just as over the top as his lies and have made his episodes some of the most watched ever for the show.
Bob also features in the popular fishing show with Paul Whitehouse managing to tackle difficuly subjects such as death and health having both suffered serious heart conditions.
Well it’s that time again where festive tele is all we want to watch. In the Christmas special where Bob and Vic, real name Jim Moir, Moir is in search for festive feathered friends at Penhurst Place in Kent. Making friends with Snowy Owl’s with old friend Bob Mortimer for an artistic rendition of the Robin.

The blurb explains: “But it’s the Waxwing that holds Jim and Nancy’s heart as the perfect Christmas bird – so together with their daughters, they head to Finland to look for these beautiful creatures as they feast on berries. Along the way they create traditional decorations with a Lappish artist in a magical cottage and attempt to recreate the Northern lights on canvas around a nocturnal campfire in the forest.”
