The cocktail bar answer to the Michelin Guide has picked one of Yorkshire’s top spots to add to its prestigious list. The Pinnacle Guide details the best of the boozers, making sure that if you decide to visit a spot on the list, you’re sure to have a unique experience.
Launching in 2024, the worldwide list now features none other than The Domino Club in Leeds. And, if you’ve ever visited the spot, you won’t be surprised that it has become such a highly regarded spot.
The list is becoming one of the cocktail bar industry’s most respected accolades with a PIN recognition system of 1, 2 or 3 based on the thorough self-application process and rigorous assessment modules. This is followed by a series of spot check interviews and anonymous in-bar reviews.
And The Domino Club has made it on. What an achievement for a Yorkshire bar. Up there kicking it with some big names and much bigger cities across the globe.
The jazz bar, located in the Grand Arcade, is a hidden speakeasy where you enter through a barbershop down some steps into a dimly lit space where your eyes are guided to the stage, where a neon sign with the bar’s name highlights a stage, where a range of fantastic acts play each week.

The Domino Club announced the news via Instagram, writing: “Listed by The Pinnacle Guide. The Domino Club has been recognised on the global list of the world’s best bars. What began as a hidden basement bar in Leeds, built around live music, cocktails and atmosphere, is now being recognised alongside some of the finest bars in the world.
“A huge thank you to our team, musicians, suppliers and every single guest who has supported us over the years. This means a lot. Leeds belongs on the world cocktail map.”
We couldn’t be happier for them. What an achievement!
