The Yorkshire Pudding Festival Is Returning For 2021

Following its debut just this year, organisers have confirmed that Leeds’ Yorkshire Pudding Festival will be back for a second helping – and there’ll be some welcomed changes, too.

Following unprecedented demand this year, the festival will house double the food vendors this year, ensuring there’s plenty of puds to go around and keeping queues as short as possible. In addition to the increase in vendors, the organisers will also be introducing ticket restrictions, keeping capacity much lower than guests saw at the start of 2020.

After beginning their journey at Leeds Kirkgate Market, the event will be moving to Leeds Town Hall, which will hold 5,000 Yorkshire Pudding enthusiasts, along with a whole fleet of food vendors who’ll be mixing it up with some tasty creations, much like they did this year.

Confirming the news on their social media channels, the organisers said:

“After the huge success of last years festival we listened to the feedback to make next year better, not bigger and better though! This year we are halving the number of attendees to just 5000! We are bringing in DOUBLE the amount of food stalls and loads of other improvements to make the day extra special!

“The day is all about celebrating the Yorkshire Pudding! The Festival will host a range of food vendors creating their take on the humble Yorkshire Pudding, mixing, stuffing and smothering them with a delicious array of home cooked dishes from around the world.

Continuing: “To join the food stalls, we will also have variety of Yorkshire traders selling Yorkshire products. A welcoming bar where you can grab a drink with your chosen dish (or dishes!) and sit back and enjoy the live entertainment that will be on throughout the day.

“From the feedback we got we took on board it was too busy at points, so we are dividing tickets into groups. Arrival times will be 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 4pm. Each group will have 1 hour and 45 minutes to enjoy the festival and you are welcome to pop back later in the day to grab some more yummy food too if there is space available!”

Tickets start at just £3.50 per person and are available on sale now ready for 2021. You can pick up yours here.
