Oh, yes! Summer is around the corner and Baileys has got us all feeling the vibes with its latest flavour. The brand is releasing a piña colada version of the Irish cream which will see the nations favourite Xmas bevvie with a tropical coconut and sweet pineapple twist.

The new flavour is based on the traditional cocktail which is made with rum. Like other Baileys drinks it’s best enjoyed mixed in a cocktail or sipped over ice. A spokesperson has said ‘It’s like summer in a bottle to enjoy at home, whatever the weather!’ We’ll drink to that.
It’s described as “A blend of our irresistible Irish Cream with the flavors of creamy coconut & sweet, juicy pineapple to create a smooth & creamy drink that’s ready to serve straight from the fridge.”
A true piña colada is a frozen drink that’s made with rum, coconut cream or milk, and pineapple juice and/or pineapple chunks. The result has a way of making you feel like you’re on a tropical island even if you’re just sitting in your kitchen.

The new range has been launched in the US and is due to be released in the UK in April. We aren’t sure about the price or any more deets but we are sure that it will be selling out fast. Namely, because we will be buying it by the caseload.
It’s a limited-edition run, so make sure that you get yours when it arrives on supermarket shelves this summer.
“Do you like piña coladas, and getting caught in the rain?” We almost got through the whole article without referencing the classic tune. Keep your eyes peeled for more news about the new Baileys piña colada, which is sure to be the drink of the summer.
