We love churros—especially when dipped in chocolate sauce. So, the news of new dessert restaurants opening in Leeds has us all ears. The family-owned business, Churros Locos, is bringing this Latin dessert to the city centre, and we’re here for it.
If you’ve never had one, a churro is a fried dough pastry served with a tasty dipping sauce, originating from Spain, Portugal, and many other Spanish-speaking countries. This family-owned business is now bringing churros to Leeds with its first Yorkshire branch. And the best part? They’re made fresh right in front of customers.
Churros Locos serves up its churros with a choice of 10 different dipping sauces—our favourite being the classic chocolate dip. You can order your churros in either a large size, which comes with nine churros and two large dips, or a regular size, with five churros and one regular dip.
The Latin dessert is made fresh in front of customers, who can choose from 10 different dipping sauces. That’s not all, though—they also serve up 16 varieties of handmade gelato in flavours ranging from vanilla and chocolate to pistachio and passionfruit cheesecake. You can choose to take away your treats or sit in and enjoy them in the restaurant.
