This Yorkshire Waterpark Is One Of The Biggest In The UK

Everyone loves a waterpark! There is nothing as fun as zipping down a waterslide or dodging waves in a wave pool – and this waterpark in South Yorkshire looks like a bit of us. Calypso Cove in Barnsley is a pirate-themed waterpark that has everything kids and big kids need for a great day out.

After the year we’ve had, a waterpark sounds like the most fun thing to do, and this one in Yorkshire looks like the most fun family day out that all of us deserve.

You’ll find us in the wave pool before heading over to the three biggest slides for the braver people out there. One of which, Terror Torrent, is considered to be one of the UK’s fastest flumes, how amazing.

If you fancy racing your mates then the Splash Ahoy area, which is made up of four slides is more for you. There are two other slides that permit adults to go on with their children.

If you’re looking for a more chilled out swim, and don’t fancy the wave pool, there is another pool perfect for doing a few lengths. There is even diving boards where you can learn to be the next Tom Daly.

The slides and water features are still closed due to government restrictions until further notice. You can book to visit the park in groups of up to six from the same household or support bubble.
