The weather is blooming awful at the moment, but this may have worked to our advantage, as we could be seeing more of everyone’s favourite farm in the Cotswolds. Diddly Squat might be gearing up to film the next series of Clarkson’s Farm — if the rumours are to be believed.
The recent influx of snow has prompted Jeremy Clarkson to tease that filming could resume this week. His comments come after he revealed in December that he planned to take a break from TV in early 2026 for the first time in 40 years. However, with temperatures dropping across the country, it seems he may now be back on camera at his Oxfordshire farm sooner than expected.
Bang Showbiz reports that he told The Sun: “We’ve never had a rest — we wrap a series and immediately start again because farming doesn’t stop. You harvest and you’re immediately drilling for the next year. But this time Kaleb’s gone off to Australia, he’s filming down there at the moment, I was doing Millionaire Hot Seat and I really wanted to have a holiday because I haven’t had one in ages. So we just said, ‘OK, let’s actually wrap it.’ And then I just said, ‘If it snows, we’ll start filming again.’”
Well, it’s snowed. So, fingers crossed Clarkson has felt inspired to pull a crew together and crack on with more Clarkson’s Farm. Since lockdown, it’s become part of our yearly routine — and we’d very much like that to continue.
Speaking about the future of the show, Clarkson added: “We’ll definitely do six — Amazon want to and I want to. I’ve got a good idea for six.” He also teased a possible seventh series, saying: “I said I’ll stop doing them when there are no more ideas. But I’ve got two quite good ones, so we’ll do six and then we’ll see…”
There’s no official release date yet for Clarkson’s Farm series five, but it’s widely expected to land on Prime Video in spring 2026 following the pattern of previous seasons, with series three and four both premiering in May.
