‘Elf: The Musical’ Is Coming To Yorkshire This Christmas -And It Sounds Amazing

SANTA’S COMING… I KNOW HIM! Christmas is almost upon us! The Christmas Markets have started being announced and a channel playing Christmas movies 24 hours a day has started this month.

The festive period would not be complete without the classic Christmas film, ElfThis year you can enjoy everyone’s favourite elf on stage in Elf: The Musical at the the Leeds First Direct Arena.

From the producers, who brought SHREKThe Sound of MusicGhost: The Musical and many more West End and Broadway titles to the Grand Opera House York, this festive show is definitely not one to be missed.

The musical is be based on the Jon Faverau masterpiece from 2003 that featured comic genius Will Farell. For those that haven’t seen it, it is a hilarious tale of Buddy, a young orphan child who mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported back to the North Pole

Unaware that he is actually human, Buddy’s enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa’s permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father, discover his true identity, and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas.

Elf: The Musical will feature songs by Tony Award nominees Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin (The Wedding Singer).
