One of our favourite venues, Grantley Hall announced its spring & summer menu earlier this month and we must say the award-winning venue has knocked it out of the park again with fresh and vibrant dishes.
The impressive stately home that dates back to the 1600s, screams sophistication and luxury and the transformation of the outside space into a fantastic orchard.

The stunning Grantley Hall’s The Orchard is a summer garden design with an Italian-British influence. The new outdoor terrace is set within a stunning sailcloth marquee – providing a bright, airy and laid back place for guests to unwind. Its spring and summer menus include some beautiful locally-sourced seafood dishes like Whitby lobster and chargrilled swordfish.

They also have classic spring flavours like shaved fennel dish, broad bean, garden pea, mint and Yorkshire feta salad. Their small plates incude salt & pepper squid served with soy, chilli, and ginger dipping sauce; Lishman’s charcuterie, which is Lishman’s of Ilkley cured ham with fennel salami, cured venison, and celeriac remoulade.

The Orchard, located on the West Terrace with lovely views of the West Lawns’ manicured gardens, is a relaxing area to enjoy with loved ones this summer. The menu is great for socialising with a few friends as the dishes are designed to be shared.
Why not enjoy a few al fresco cocktails like a cosmopolitan, old fashioned, manhattan or bellini. Or maybe some Grantley punch, which comes in three refreshing springtime varieties to choose from (or try all three).

Only dinner reservations are required, and The Orchard welcomes guests (both hotel residents and non-residents) who simply want to relax and enjoy a drink or two.
The Orchard is open from March 16th until the beginning of the winter season, when it will be transformed into a new design. Opening times are Monday through Thursday, 12 p.m.–3 p.m., with beverages until 10 p.m.; Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, 12 p.m.–9 p.m., with drinks until 10 p.m.
