Christmas markets in Yorkshire are a delightful experience with all the twinkling lights, mulled wine, and festive cheer. But, the main ones are York, Sheffield, and Leeds, leaving ol’ East Yorkshire wanting.
This has changed this year after the success of the Xmas event last year, which saw hundreds of people attend, the picturesque market town of Pocklington in East Yorkshire is hosting its second European-style Christmas market with a whole host of festive cheer heading its way.
For one weekend only, the Pocklington Christmas market will host 70 stalls of various crafts, food producers, and traders offering truly unique gifts for the perfect bit of festive cheer.
When is Pocklington Christmas Market?
It is set to take place of Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st December 2025 and is set to be taking over St Peter’s Square with Swiss-style chalets, live entertainment, a winter wonderland, street food traders and more.
Visitors can explore sparkling stalls offering unique gifts, enjoy warming festive food and drinks, and soak up the atmosphere with live music and entertainment. With special seasonal surprises planned for families, the event promises a joyful Christmas experience for all.
Pocklington isn’t the only one holding a. Christmas market this year, with the triumphant return of Beverley’s Festive of Christmas, which is set to dazzle the town from the 28th of November with five days of festive cheer.
