The matching of wits, speed and strength filmed in Sheffield returned to our screens back in January and has proven a huge hit with audiences with families gathering together on a Saturday to watch exhilarating tele.
The BBC;s, Gladiators reboot is one of the most exciting and iconic sports entertainment game shows ever, is hosted by the dynamic father and son duo Bradley and Barney Walsh.
The programme, previously popular for pitting contestants against characters including Wolf, Jet and Hunter, appeared on ITV from 1992 to 2000, before being resurrected on Sky One in 2008 and 2009.
New episodes for the second series of BBC’s Gladiators will be filmed this summer with the diverse set of athletes returning to the arena. The Gladiators are led by Legend, who has shown power and strength throughout the first series.
A new range of Gladiators are back and ready to take on the contenders with exciting new names including Apollo, Athena, Electro, fire along with two Yorkshire Gladiators Bionic from Middlesborough and Fury from West Yorkshire.
