This is our favourite time of year. The sun is finally shining and a summer of fun awaits us. With the best Yorkshire food & drink festivals on the horizon as well as festivals and all sorts of al fresco fun to be had. And, the a big ol’ festival in the calendar is set to take place in Yorkshire next weekend.
The Great British Food Festival takes place at the end of the month and promises to be an unmissable event with street food vendors, chefs from all over the world and an artisan market for you to pick up some bits for yourself. Known to be a food haven, the harder decision you’ll have to make all day is which food you’re going to try next. There will be some more exotic elements as well as the best local burgers and sausages for those with more traditional tastes

Taking place at the popular Harewood House in Leeds from May 24 to 26, over the Bank Holiday weekend from 10am – 5.30pm, with that stunning stately home as a backdrop. Does life get any better? We think not! Hundreds of people will be heading to Leeds to enjoy all that’s on offer at this year’s biggest food festival.
Not only can you chow down on some amazing street food offerings from vendors across the country with such an amazing mix of cultures and cuisines, but you can also enjoy chef demonstrations including qualified clinical nutritionist Eva Humphries, who inspires audiences to create meals using seasonal British produce focusing on not just big flavours but also nutritional needs.
It’s not all about the food though, there will be bars, live music and a range of children’s activities so that the whole family can have an amazing day out at the Great British Food Festival 2025 at Harewood House.
Discussing this year’s festival, Eva Humphries said: “Cookery demonstrations are such a great opportunity to pick up new skills and learn insider tips on making our food more delicious and nutritious. Unlike recipe books or social media, live demonstrations offer an immersive experience with an expert. In my case, I help you make healthy food genuinely tasty, so it turns into delicious food with the side benefit of it being good for you,” Yorkshire Evening Post reports.
