Heinz Set To Launch Limited Edition Curry Flavours Of Its Iconic Baked Beans

Heinz has announced it will be launching a new range of its famous baked beans and some people aren’t sure. They’re set to release three new curry flavours and we can’t wait to try theym

Adding a little spice to its iconic tomato blend to create a twist on the originals. You can enjoy three exciting new flavour beans including Tikka, Jalfrezi and Vindaloo.

Available in Asda from October 5th, the new beans selection coincides with National Curry Week, which celebrates Eastern cuisines which have become favourites amongst Brits.

Spice up your beans on toast with the Nation’s favourite takeaway flavours. I know I’ll be keen to try the Tikka beans, but don’t think I have the stomach for a Vindaloo.

The beans kings already produce BBQ Beanz and Chilli Beanz, lovers. And, around 40% of Brits are already adding a cheeky something to spice up their beans, I like to add a little bit of fajita mix to mine. But, not anymore… with these new flavours the jobs done for you.

The new flavours are described thus. The Tikka Masala is a creamy warm spiced sauce, whereas the Jalfrezi has a medium kick to it and, as you’d expect, the Vindaloo is much more fiery and intense.

Heinz already sells up to 2.5 million tins of beans a day, so it will be interesting to see how the new flavours go down with customers.

Alessandra de Dreuille, director of meals and insights for Heinz, said: “We think it’s about time that two of the nation’s favourite dishes, curry and Heinz Beanz, came together, and as soon as we heard that Brits were adding spice to their Beanz, we knew we were on to something!”

“We’ve been hard at work perfecting these recipes that are guaranteed to tingle your taste buds. So, whether it’s Jalfrezi Beanz on Toast, Tikka Beanz with a side of naan, or even Vindaloo Beanz for those that can handle the heat, our new Beanz Flavourz are sure to be the Beanz you don’t know you love yet.”

We already know we are going to have to give these a try, but do you think you will be, or will you just stick the usual classic Heinz Beinz.
