After opening up about his struggles to find acting work post-Emmerdale, Derbyshire’s answer to the Amanda Owen the Yorkshire Shepherdess, Kelvin will see if he’s got what it takes in his new life with his wife Liz, and their two children Marnie and Milo.
Much Like Yorkshireman Clarkson and his show ‘Clarkson’s Farm’, Kelvin has zero farming experience, so viewers will follow him as he throws himself in at the deep end and attempts to turn a profit on his farm.

“We have literally jumped in at the deep end and bought a farm!”
He went on to say: “A reluctant Wife, two crazy kids and a Husband with knowledge of farming you could write on the back of a stamp! What could possibly go wrong?!”
The BBC said that Kelvin will “get to grips with the notoriously tough world of livestock markets, sheep wrangling and the maintenance of a huge estate with endless outbuildings and an unmanageable cast of animals.”
