Yorkshire Town Transformed Into The ‘All Creatures Great And Small’ Set As Crews Spotted Filming

It was recently announced that All Creatures Great and Small series four filming was underway and it seems they’ve once again transformed the stunning Thirsk cinema.

The popular Channel 5 series began filming earlier this year with Samuel West who plays Seigfried posting a snap to his Twitter – and it seems our favourite cast members will be in Thirsk soon enough.

The series follows the series of books written by real-life vet Alf Wight, who wrote under the pen name James Herriot about his adventures in the Yorkshire Dales.

Grassington, which is home to Skeldale House and the Darroby Arms, will once again be transformed into the idyllic backdrop for everyone’s favourite wholesome drama.

The series follows the series of books written by real-life vet Alf Wight, who wrote under the pen name James Herriot about his adventures in the Yorkshire Dales.

In the last series and the Christmas special, the second world war was prevalent with the series ending with Tristan Farnon signing up for the army.

It’s expected that the second world war will once again feature in the next series, but will James Herriott decide to sign up or will he stay with Helen and Seigfried?

For now, we can only guess. Stunning snaps captured in Thirsk by Stacey Holme and Shane Lofthouse show the streets of Thirsk transformed into the familiar old styling synonymous with All Creatures.
