KFC officially closed its doors five days ago and with all its chains now closed you must be climbing the walls for some fried goodness. MasterChef winner, Simon Wood, has raced to the rescue with his homemade version of the famous blend of eleven herbs and spices.
One of the minor positives that has come out of this epidemic is that we get to spend more time with our families. It’s a small win in a big mess , but people finally have the time in their hectic lives to slow down and cook. As well as this amazing hack by Simon Wood, Jamie Oliver has a great show throughout the week where he gives hints and tips about meals you can cook with your store cupboard ingredients during this pandemic.
Wood, who won the MasterChef competition back in 2015, has given us a version of the KFC gravy that is sure to please the kids. Similar to Jamie Oliver, he is helping people get back to cooking and he has created a store cupboard version that you are definitely going to want to try.
In his IGTV video the MasterChef champion gives so words of advice: “If you haven’t got any ingredients leave it out, it’s not about making restaurant quality food, it’s about giving something familiar to your kids”
