Fancy a taste of Portugal, but don’t want to wait until next summer to visit? Then you need to visit this amazing Portuguese cafe, Lisboa Café & Patisserie in Sheffield. Serving you a taste of Portugal in the heart of the Steel City Sheffield, they’re one not to be missed.
The Lisboa Café & Patisserie in Sheffield Peace Gardens venue recently opened up again this month, so you can now enjoy fresh pastries, best Portuguese Coffee, Pastries, Sandwiches & Cakes Baked Fresh every day. This includes those delicious, custard-filled treats – pastéis de natas.

Also found in Crookes in Sheffield, the Portuguese cafe has a unique look with its choice of bright yellow colours that are also synonymous with the amazing city of Lisbon and the authentic pastéis de natas.
The beautiful Peace Gardens location reopened earlier this month after undergoing a refurbishment, but they’re back open so you can get your fill of the freshly made nadas in the city centre.
Dan Martins, the cafe’s owner, saw this as a chance to rebuild the cafe by adding breakfast and lunchtime options and modernising the design.

Baked fresh on-site the little cafe and its little puffs of pastries come as authentic as they can possibly get. They’re filled full of that delicious, fluffy, eggy custard filling with the glazed top that has become so iconic.
As well as the nadas you can enjoy a range of other pastries and sandwiches along with a coffee. With a five out of five rating on TripAdvisor, it doesn’t take a genius to notice what an absolute gem this place is.

One reviewer wrote: “Me, my siblings and my Dad went there to check the Natas, and I have to say that we are very impressed!! We are Portuguese and today we found this amazing place to eat some Natas when we miss Portugal.”
Another complimented them by saying: “a lovely selection of Portuguese cakes and pastries, and some delicious sandwiches too. I love my coffee also and the coffee here did not disappoint. Will be coming back again soon for sure!”

The new cafe in Crookes opened a couple of months ago and is a real treat. So make sure you get down and check these guys out. Whether you decide to sit in or take it out you are sure to enjoy it.
