If you’re looking to get a sweet tan and find love all in one go then you need to get applying for the 2022 edition of Love Island, as they’ve finally opened this year’s application process, and you could be on the biggest dating show in the UK.

Love Island announced the big news via their Instagram page saying “Happy New Year! Now, who fancies spending summer in paradise, with the hope of finding love?”

If you think that you’ve got what it takes the website says “ITV2 are looking for vibrant singles from across the UK who want to head to the sun, in search of love. The chosen cast will spend time in a luxury villa, getting to know one another, but to remain in paradise they must win the hearts of the public and their fellow Islanders who ultimately decide their fate on Love Island.”

You must be 18 and above to apply and cannot be employed by ITV or related to anyone who works at ITV. You must hold a valid passport, and that’s basically all that stands between you and true love.

One Instagram user commented on the post writing: “Girls I’m gone, cya,”  whilst another wrote “will they accept middle age mums, we need a free holiday.”
