Samuel L. Jackson is back as his beloved Marvel character, Nick Fury – and this time, he’s getting far more screentime than ever before.
The main protagonist of the brand new Disney+ series Secret Invasion, the mega Hollywood star was spotted filming in various West Yorkshire locations earlier this year, even greeting fans during his travels.
Now, fans can finally see exactly what he was up to with an official sneak peek of the new series released by Disney just yesterday.
Picking up with Nick Fury after he mysteriously goes into hiding, Fury and his old S.H.I.E.L.D agents are pulled back into the game when Earth is faced with yet another existential threat: a Skrull invasion.
Check out the trailer to Secret Invasion below:
Marvel fans may remember that the cast and crew were spotted filming at the beautiful Piece Hall in Halifax back at the start of the year – and a sneak peek of that can actually be seen in the trailer.
Another flicker of the trailer shows Leeds city centre, however, this particular shot is less prominent than the one of Piece Hall.
In true Marvel style, the Piece Hall is shown with a huge explosion in the centre of it, meaning it’s likely the pretty Yorkshire spot was used for an action-packed fight scene.
The premise of the series picks back up on the Skrull storyline first introduced in Captain Marvel, and is slated for release in 2023.

The series stars Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Ben Mendelsohn, Martin Freeman, Don Cheadle, Emilia Clarke and Olivia Colman.
Secret Invasion is just one of many Marvel TV series to be released since the launch of Disney+, following major success with WandaVision, Loki and She-Hulk.
