‘All Creatures Great & Small’ Series 6 Air Date Confirmed

The beloved Channel 5 period drama All Creatures Great and Small is set to return this autumn for its highly anticipated sixth series. James Herriot and the gang are back in the Yorkshire Dales for the most heartwarming show on tele.

Based on the James Herriot novels by Alf Wight, the six-part series follows the vets and their work on farms in and around the Yorkshire Dales, as well as the smaller pets of the local village of Darrowby. The series will premiere on Channel 5 on Thursday, 25th September 2025 at 9pm.

Series 6 sees the residents of Darrowby adjusting to life in 1945, as the war in Europe draws to a close. With veterinary medicine advancing, families expanding, and new opportunities on the horizon, the Skeldale House gang must navigate both change and tradition in a community looking toward a more hopeful future.
