Missing hiker, Harry Harvey has been found safe after been missing for three days. Richmondshire Today reported that Mr Harvey flagged down a resident near Keld who was driving past this morning.
Peter Roe, from Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team, said: “He had got lost for a couple of days in the mist on the moor then found his way to the road… He had a bit of a fall but had managed to deal with it himself and was absolutely fine.
“We could have been walking a few years from him and we wouldn’t have known – he’s a really nice chap.”
Richmondshire Today reported that Inspector Mark Gee said Mr Harvey was staying at Tan Hill on Friday night and had got separated from the group on Saturday. He said Mr Harvey had a tent and had been caring for himself.
He was back safely 10:40 am this morning to Tan Hill for a reunion with his friends after being missing for three days.
