Noel Gallagher and his High Flying Birds are set to headline a huge concert in Sheffield this year. That’s right, the songwriter who brought us such classics as Wonderwall, Live Forever, Half The World Away, Don’t Look Back In Anger and much much more is coming to Sheffield.
The Oasis songwriter, lead guitarist, backing vocalist and elder of the Gallagher brothers, Noel will be bringing his band to the steel city for a huge show at the Don Valley Bowl in Sheffield.
The band will be part of a Rock ‘n’ Roll Circus schedule of shows taking place that weekend. And the tickets are set to go on general sale from 10 am on Friday 3rd March.

Taking place on a huge spoke structure, Noel Gallagher will be joined by Yorkshire’s own The Cribs, fellow Mancs The Happy Mondays, The Joy Formidable and Somebody’s Child.

A Rock ‘n’ Roll Circus spokesperson said: “We’re proud to be bringing our event to South Yorkshire. Sheffield has such a strong tradition for Live music, we’re delighted to be able to host our touring concept there.
“Noel is a living legend, his live shows are always amazing, featuring songs across his 30 year career. The first tracks to be heard from his new album Council Skies are great with the album to be released before he arrives in Sheffield. Stay tuned for more major artist announcements.”
Councillor Martin Smith, Chair of the Economic Development and Skills Committee at Sheffielld City Council, added: “This is an incredibly exciting event which combines the best artists of the UK music scene with the top circus performers, it will be an immersive experience you won’t want to miss.
“Sheffield’s reputation as the music city is growing, and this event is a fantastic new element to the city’s varied major events calendar, featuring the best of music, sport, outdoors and entertainment. I’m so excited for the year ahead.”
Sheffield the countdown is on for the Rock N Roll Circus at Don Valley Bowl is on. The festival will take place over the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of September.
Along with Noel Gallagher coming to Sheffield to play in the Big Top, you can enjoy three days of music along with other fantastic offerings such as 30 circus entertainers.
