After the sad news of the shock split between Amanda and her long-term partner Clive rumours have started to circulate about Amanda’s career away from Ravenseat Farm.
Don’t worry, Our Yorkshire Farm is still ongoing it seems from what Channel 5 have reassured fans, saying in a statement: “We respect the privacy of Amanda and Clive Owen at this time. They are very much a part of the Channel 5 family and we will continue to work with them in the future.”
But, Amanda, who has seen great success since the show with books published and appearances at various events, may be looking to further her career. The Sun reported that Amanda has been booking in meetings with TV execs and has even taken on a PR agency to help her with promotions.
Speaking to the newspaper, a TV insider said: “Amanda has everything going for her, likeability, knowledge, beauty, PR nous and, crucially, she’s a natural on camera.
“She’s incredibly smart and showbiz savvy, and her natural warmth has made her a hit with all demographics.
“As has been seen with Jeremy Clarkson’s smash series, there’s a real desire for these types of farming shows. There is absolutely no reason she can’t carry a format solo.
“Clive never really wanted to be in front of the camera, Amanda was very much the driving force behind their success.
“This is now her golden opportunity to shine and start earning millions as a solo commodity, through both brand endorsements and a new show.
“Other channels and streaming services are already sniffing around her.”
News on the sixth series of Our Yorkshire Farm is thin on the ground. The previous series have tended to be shown later into the winter showcasing the family’s summer activities. So, we’ll keep our ears out for any more news on the next series.
