Peter Kay Fans Angered As Tickets Spotted On Resale Sites For £1,000

Peter Kay is possibly the most popular comedian of our time and it’s proving very difficult for fans to secure tickets for his show. O2 priority tickets were released today and the site crashed as tickets were released this morning.

With the demand highest that O2 priority has seen for more than 15 years, many were left disappointed when they didn’t secure tickets.

And, to add insult to injury Peter Kay tickets have started to appear on resale sites such as ViaGogo for as much as £1,000 each, which even if we weren’t in a cost-of-living crisis would be ludicrous.

Peter Kay promised to sell tickets at the same price as his last tour back in 2010 over 12 years ago with tickets ranging from £35 for standard seats and £175 for the VIP treatment.

The rest of Peter Kay stand up tour tickets are set to go on sale this Saturday and we expect that Seetickets site will see the same amount of traffic with people dying to see the Bolton-born stand up.

Kay was set to go on stage back in 2017 on a huge 100-date tour but took a step back due to ‘unforeseen family circumstances

Peter Kay is playing Leeds First Direct Arena on Friday 20th January and Friday 19th May. He will play Sheffield’s Utilita Arena on Friday 17th February and again on Friday 11th August.

Along with the two Yorkshire dates in 2023, he’ll also be going to Manchester and Birmingham this year, and then next year he’s going to go to Liverpool, Belfast, Newcastle, Birmingham Dublin, Glasgow, Cardiff and Nottingham.
