A pod of dolphins were spotted swimming in the bay at Bridlington the other day. Situated on the east coast, it seems like dolphins are becoming quite the attraction as 35 dolphins were also spotted the other day at Bempton Cliffs.

The dolphins were spotted by Yorkshire Rose Fishing Trips, whilst taking customers out on a three-hour fishing trip. The skipper of the boat managed to record the wonderful moment a pod of dolphins approached the boat.
Taking to Facebook their posted saying: “Dolphins in the ba. On this afternoons 3 hour trip our skipper caught this video of dolphins in the bay! Very lucky to have witnessed and filmed such a sight!”

A customer from the trip commented on the post saying how it was such a “big bonus” to get up close and personal with the fish in the bay whilst out on the boat.
One customer commented on the post saying “Hopefully they will be with us on Tuesday”. Fingers crossed they get to see the dolphins playing around in the sea. It seems like they like to put on a show!
The Yorkshire Rose is a 28ft fully decked charter vessel that can take out up to 12 anglers around Bridlington and Scarborough depending on the location required, on two to ten-hour trips throughout the year. After spotting these dolphins, we think we might have to give it a try.
