This Incredible New Neopolitan-Style Pizzeria Is Set To Open In Hull City Centre

Big news for Neopolitan pizza fans in Hull, as the city centre is getting a brand new restaurant coming in 2023. Stretch Neopolitan Pizza in Hull which began life as a pop-up street food stall has announced that it will be opening up at the incredible and architecturally stunning Paragon Arcade.

Hull’s Stretch pizza a pop-up back in 2020 which began as a result of the lockdown serves up some of the best Neopolitan-style pizza we’ve had to pleasure of trying.

From a classic margarita to their firey Diavalo there is something for everyone and we can’t wait to see what Stretch Neopolitan Pizza in Hull have planned for its bricks-and-mortar version.

Posting to their Instagram Stretch Pizza in Hull wrote: “We’ve taken a trip down memory lane for this reel and wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of the awesome individuals, businesses and customers for every second of support that we’ve been given over the last few years. It’s not until you look back on everything that you realise how much you’ve done and how far this adventure has come.

“You guys have been asking for a while ‘when are you going to take the next step to a brick and mortar premises?!’… well, WE HAVE!

“I know it won’t be much of a secret to some of you; word travels fast in this ace little city of ours and yesterday I got sent a screenshot of a news article announcing it before we got chance to… 😅 but we hope that all of you guys, our amazing, loyal customers are super excited to see what we have up our sleeves for the next step in Stretch’s journey!

We will be opening our doors in the gorgeous @paragon_arcade_hull early next year after we have completed all the works we need to carry out.

We can’t wait to get started and to have somewhere that you can get your Stretch fix on the regular!”

It’s been awarded £22,638.18 towards its project in the iconic Paragon Arcade as part of the city’s regeneration project, which looks to level up empty units across the city centre.

Councillor Paul Drake-Davis, Portfolio Holder for Regeneration, said: “I am delighted to be able to award this grant to Stretch Pizza to help repurpose and regenerate an empty unit in our city centre. The Levelling Up Fund has already benefitted many buildings and businesses in Hull and this is another example of the regeneration work it helps unlock.”
