The beloved annual Christmas event that brings to life the magic of The Polar Express movie is set to return for 2025, with tickets now on sale. A popular diary fixture for families, the annual experience sees guests meet the characters, including Father Christmas, and experience the story as told by singing chefs.

Operating in four locations, including London, Kent, Buckfastleigh and, of course, Yorkshire, the experience begins at Leeming Bar station, where guests are picked up by a steam train before journeying on through North Yorkshire.
While on board, each guest will receive a hot chocolate and a cookie, just as they do in the film, alongside the first gift of Christmas from Father Christmas himself. The experience has quickly become of the UK’s favourites and sells out every year.

2025 will mark the experience’s sixth year of bringing movie magic to life. The Polar Express experience begins on 14th November, and runs right up until 23rd December, with various time slots for each day. Ticket prices start at £41.95.
The event joins the likes of Northern Lights Leeds and York Christmas Markets among some of the most popular festive events in the region.
