Some much luxury and glamour seems to be attached with them. And, Swift Direct Blinds, interior experts, have named Castle Howard the most beautiful stately home across the world.
They came to the conclusion using Yelp and TripAdvisor results as the method to find the top stately homes, which took 100 years to build.

The house is a grade I-listed baroque house and its gardens sit on the site of a village and medieval castle which burnt down in 1693.
The house features 1,000 acres of parkland, lakes, fountains, temples and woodland along with a wonderful walled garden.
Other stately homes featured in the list include Waddesdon Manor in Buckinghamshire, Oheka Castle in Long Island, USA, Burgley House in Cambridgeshire, Biltmore in North Carolina, USA, Windsor Castle, in Windsor, Chatsworth House in Derbyshire, Monticello Court in Virginia, USA, and Hampton Court in Richmond.
