The biggest maize maze in the UK, it is open throughout the summer and has plenty of activities to keep your kids entertained – as well as their amazing maize maze.
Created from over one million living, growing maize plants, York maze is an award-winning fun-filled family day out. As well as housing the largest maze in the UK, it has 20 different rides, attractions and shows to enjoy with your family.

This year they’re celebrating 90 years of Lego with their lego design. Posting to their social accounts they wrote: “Sneak Peak of just a CORNer of the LEGO 90 years of play Maze here at York Maze! This is just a tiny part of the whole Maze, but what will the BIG picture be? We reveal all at the Press Launch on Friday 15th July around 11am! We open this Saturday 16th July!”

You can get bouncing on their huge popcorn pillow and have a laugh on their Crowmania ride before taking in a show at the KerNoel’s House Party. There is a fun sand and water play area as well as much more!



York Maze prides itself on offering high-quality drinks and snacks that vary from your usual theme park offering. Head over to the Kernel’s Coffee Shop to grab a drink and a snack before heading back out to enjoy the grand activities in the UK’s largest maize maze. The Kernel’s Kitchen serves up locally soured burgers in a brioche-style bun with salad. Why not upgrade with the addition of Monterey jack cheese, dry-cured bacon or even another burger?



They offer themed events throughout the year. Their Halloscream event is sure to spook you out! Do you dare make your way through the spooky maze? Be prepared to jump out of your skin around every corner! They even do wedding events, so you’ve got plenty of opportunities to get stuck into the UK’s biggest maze.
