Pangea, the Discovery of Dinosaurs, is the newest attraction at Yorkshire’s incredible wildlife park. The £50 million investment in the site includes an immersive parkland investment where visitors can enjoy a whole host of pre-historic dinos.
Usually known for its vast array of wildlife over its 175-acre walk-through wildlife park, which includes polar bears, lions, monkeys giraffes, and much much more, the new attraction is made up of a convincing display of dinosaurs with lifelike movements that sit nicely in the wildlife park.

The 35 animatronic dinosaurs across Pangea are perfect for kids of all ages and adults as well. The name comes from the supercontinent name before the countries began to break apart.

Once you’ve done exploring, you can head to the Evolution-themed restaurant, which is just as amazing as the dino world with a huge pirate ship at its heart, moving monoliths from Easter Island, and of course more dinosaurs.

A unique new addition to Yorkshire that can only be compared to the famous Rainforest Cafe in London, Evolution at Yorkshire Wildlife Park brings the pre-historic era back to life (kind of literally), providing a pretty good solution to the inevitable iPads at the table when dining with kids.



The staff also dress up as pirates continuing the theme of the restaurant and drawing you into the fun. But, it’s not just an immersive experience the food offering is great too.
It’s a menu that’ll please every family member, with classic dishes such as stone-baked pizza, stacked burgers, sharing platters, and even delicious grilled steaks. Drinks-wise, expect an array of classic cocktails and beers, alongside plenty of booze-free options for the kids, too.
You can let your young ones run off a little energy in a play barn called, Uproar, which is booked separately from the wildlife park. Located within The Hive complex you can book two-hour slots – ready for more exploration around Yorkshire Wildlife Park.
